Viking Orders Two Firm, Four Option Cruise Vessels from Fincantieri

Viking Cruises has signed a major agreement with Italy’s Fincantieri shipyard for the construction of two new cruise vessels, with the option for four additional ships. The firm orders will expand Viking’s luxury fleet, further cementing its position as a leader in the high-end cruise market. These vessels will feature cutting-edge technology aimed at enhancing sustainability and energy efficiency.

The deal highlights Fincantieri’s long-standing relationship with Viking, with delivery of the first two ships expected. Should the additional four options be exercised, Viking’s fleet will see substantial growth, aligning with the company’s future expansion and eco-friendly cruising strategies.
