Ukraine Accuses Russia of Missile Strike on Cargo Ship in Black Sea

Ukraine,
Ukraine has accused Russia of a missile attack on a commercial cargo ship in the Black Sea. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the attack a “brazen assault” and released photos of the vessel, which was carrying wheat to Egypt. The ship, registered in St. Kitts and Nevis, sustained damage to its port side but the crew was unharmed, and it is continuing its journey.

Security consultant Ambrey reported that the attack occurred shortly after the vessel left Ukraine’s Chornomorsk port. While Romanian officials denied the vessel was in their waters or requested help, the incident adds to the growing tensions in the Black Sea amid ongoing military threats. This attack follows reports of new missile supplies to Russia from Iran and North Korea.
