India’s Fisheries Sector Gets Boost with Launch of Pradhan Mantri Matsya Kisan Samridhi Sah-Yojna

New Delhi,
Union Minister for Fisheries, Rajiv Ranjan Singh, will inaugurate the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Kisan Samridhi Sah-Yojna and unveil key initiatives during the 4th anniversary of the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojna (PMMSY) on September 11, 2024.
At the event, Singh will also unveil the Standard Operating Procedure on Fisheries Clusters and announce several national priority projects, including climate-resilient fishing villages and a digital portal for fish farmers. These initiatives will further support India’s Blue Revolution, promoting sustainable growth, innovation, and resilience in the fisheries industry.
