Tanker DELTA BLUE Survives Dual Assault Near Al Mukha, Yemen

On August 8th, the crude oil tanker DELTA BLUE was attacked twice off the coast of Yemen, 45 nautical miles south of Al Mukha. The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operation (UKMTO) reported that the vessel was first targeted by RPGs from two small boats, each carrying four individuals. Later, the tanker faced a second attack involving missiles, which exploded near the vessel. Fortunately, DELTA BLUE sustained no damage, and all crew members are safe. The Liberian-registered tanker, owned by Delta Tankers Ltd of Greece, has continued its voyage and is en route to its next port of call.
