Coast Guard Frees Six Indian Fishermen Captured By Pakistan In High Seas Off Gujarat Coast

The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) transporting six Indian fishermen to a Pakistani port when the Indian Coast Guard ship stepped in to save them. Officials from the Indian Coast Guard claim that the event took place on October 6.

An emergency involving the Indian fishing boat Harsiddhi-5 from Jakhau was reported over the radio to the Indian Coast Guard ship “Arinjay.” According to Indian Coast Guard officials, the boat was fishing near to the maritime boundary line off the coast of Gujarat.
